This 6 week class is designed for beginners- intermediate students. Students are introduced to basic wheel techniques (throwing cylinder forms and bowl forms, finishing and glazing) and expand wheel methods and surface decoration for the continuing student.
The course will include wedging, centering clay, throwing a variety of bowl and cylinder forms such as cups and vases, finishing and glazing.
This class provides individual attention to beginners and then enables students to evolve at their own level and improve their skills in clay. Intermediate students will have the flexibility to work independently. This is a mixed skill level class.
If you are new to FCAC, please see the campus map at the bottom of the page for studio location.
*A $25 material fee will be added to each class at the time of checkout*
