Going back in time, campers learn about early forms of human expression. We’ll explore the artwork created as well as the techniques and materials used in ancient civilizations such as Rome, Greece, Aztecs, Mayans, Egypt, Persia, Shang Dynasty, Polynesia, and others!

Campers set sail learning about legends and lore surrounding the sea. Projects will feature myths such as the lost city of Atlantis, the Loch Ness monster, sirens, merfolk, and more. *Half day option also offered this week

Get ready to dive in! This week campers will learn about the infinite number of creatures that live in our oceans. From colossal squid to phytoplankton we’ll explore their unique designs and how they use them in their environment.

Learn how artists from the past 100 years have influenced the way we create art today! Campers will create a variety of art utilizing the techniques from the Impressionists like Claude Monet to living legends like Yayoi Kusama. *Half Day & Teen camp option also offered this week

This week, students will learn about the fundamentals and history of photography. We will explore technical aspects such as understanding exposure through cyanotypes, the evolution of photography and cameras throughout the past two centuries, and the design aspect of photo taking. All accumulating into a rounded introduction of how to start capturing the world around them. A camera is not required, but highly encouraged if child has access to one such as a smartphone or a small digital camera. No analog (film) cameras.

Pow! Bam! Zap! Delve into popular superheroes, villains, talking animals and more while learning the elements of storytelling and character development. Campers will create their own comic and cartoon characters then bring them to life through drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and more! *Half Day option also offered this week

2024 Creatisphere Summer Art Camp

CLICK HERE FOR TEEN CAMPS! (Ages 13-18)

Creatisphere inspires children through active learning, and hands-on exploration. The camp offers engaging, creative experiences, in which children are encouraged to experiment, innovate, and CREATE.

Pottery, Drawing, Sculpture, Collage, 3-D Design, Storytelling, Mixed Media, Painting, Printmaking, Glass, Textiles, Costume Design, Building, and More!

STEAM, history, conservation, world cultures, yoga, and games are incorporated into the weekly themes.

Creatisphere will include a kiln formed glass experience. Campers will also get to see artists making blown glass, learn about the science behind glass blowing, and ask questions!

Discovery, movement, and play are an important balance to inside classroom time at Creatisphere Summer Camp. Campers will spend break-times outside observing nature, or visiting the labyrinth and art park adjacent to our campus. 

Weekly Camps: May 27th -August 5th / 9 am – 4 pm *Extended Care Available
