This beginner hand building class is great for all ages and designed for parents and guardians to participate alongside their children! Projects differ each week and are a range of 3-D creations such as bowls, vessels, and sculptural pieces. Working with clay helps children develop problem-solving and fine motor skills, and encourages imagination, initiative, and curiosity.
Project will be made using kiln fired clay and glaze. Finished pieces will need to be picked up at a later date after the class.

Classroom Location:
Classes are held in the Youth Art Program Building 6 classroom 2. When entering the parking lot from De Soto street, the classroom is to your immediate right behind building 5 (orange door with the picket fence and yard). Follow the sidewalk around to the blue building with the white trim and the yellow door with a 2 in the window.

Creating with Clay is offered the 2nd and 4th Saturday each month, 10am-12pm.
Notes
- Prepayment Required. No walk-ins allowed at this time.
- Please send a snack and bottle of water with your child.
- Grades: K-5
Cancellation Policy
Students will receive a refund of tuition minus 10% if the student contacts us no later than 7 days prior to the first day of class. Cancellations up to 48 hours before the start of the class will receive a 50% refund. Any cancellations within 48 hours before the start of the class, or after the class has begun will not be refunded. In the case of an emergency, the student may be able to transfer their payment towards another class based on availability.
If you need to move your enrollment to another session you must contact us at least 7 days prior to the start of the class. You cannot move enrollment forward after a class has already begun.
Class sizes are limited and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Unfortunately, FCAC is unable to prorate students for missed classes or classes that they are unable to attend.
