FIRST CITY ART CENTER AWARDED IMPACT 100 GRANT

First City Art Center was one of 10 local non-profit organizations to receive an Impact 100 Pensacola Bay Area grant of $102,500.00.  The funds will be used to expand the glass and pottery programs and upgrade the facility.  The new, improved space will allow for more programs and participants.  MORE INFO HERE >

First City Art Center is Now Accepting Applications for its 4th Glassblowing Mentorship Program for High School Students

The glass artists of First City Art Center are proud to be offering FREE comprehensive glassblowing instruction to four high school students in grades 9-11 in Escambia and Santa Rosa County.  This year’s program, their fourth, will begin with an orientation on March 6, 2014 and will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays until April 22nd….

FCAC Hosts BFA Exhibit

FCA hosted the BFA exit exhibition for graduting UWF senior Kaitlin Hodge. Show and reception were held in building C on May 23rd at 6pm. FCA continues to partner with the UWF art department to have BFA showings and openings.  UWF has also provided interns from the Visual Arts Department.
